RYA Intermediate Powerboat
This is an excellent course for those wishing to further their navigation skills or for those that intend on taking their advanced powerboat.
All candidates that attend this course must have boat handling skills to the standard of the RYA National Powerboat Level Two with a coastal endorsement.
This course has a minimum age of 16, and a minimum duration of 2 days.
This course includes:
- Planning a day cruise
- Boat preperation
- Boat handling
- Pilotage
- Passage making
- Man overboard
- Traditional and electronical navigation techniques
- Advanced boat handling
After this course you will be able to plan and execute short coastal passages by day.
